Due to the coronavirus pandemic, many people around the world are working remotely from home. Meeting applications such as Zoom allow groups to communicate via voice and video, creating a virtual meeting space, and thus those types of applications being used extensively. CD Project Red is no different, as it has been forced to work mostly remotely, which has helped Cyberpunk 2077 to avoid COVID-19 related delays.

Many fans of The Witcher will love the idea of downloading the epic backgrounds for their Zoom meetings and surprising co-workers with images from another world. Locations such as Kaer Morhen and Skellige are shown off in the amazing images. Some non-video game playing colleagues may notice the vistas as well, as Season 2 of The Witcher on Netflix is on the way soon, with the first season successfully capturing the attention of a wide audience.
