Mark Calaway used to wrestle in WCW as “Mean Mark” Callous, before making his way to WWE in 1990. The Undertaker character became a huge hit among the fans and the rest is history. He has been a WWE mainstay since then and is widely regarded as one of the greatest Superstars in the history of this business.

While talking about his dynamic with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon, Calaway said that their friendship grew over the years because McMahon trusted him with The Undertaker character. He added that the gimmick was originally Vince’s idea, but the boss gave him a lot of creative freedom with it and trusted him when he felt that he needed to make the transition to the American Bada** gimmick. He also talked about being grateful to Vince for giving him an opportunity in WWE.
