In an interview with the Global Poker Index, “The Truth” was asked why he loves to participate in the World Series of Poker every summer, the 16-year veteran said:

Pierce went on to say:
What does Pierce plan do to if he makes the WSOP Main Event final table, which will only play-out in November, a few weeks after the start of the 2014-15 NBA Season?
We certainly wish Pierce the best of luck as he attempts to become the first pro athlete to final table the Main Event at the World Series of Poker.
